What is Call Fowarding?

Call forwarding allows you to direct incoming calls to your service line to another phone number of your choice. You may forward your calls to your cell phone while you are shopping for example, or forward office calls to your house on the weekends.

How do I set up call forwarding?

To set up call forwarding on your account just log into your account. Once logged in you can select call forwarding and change the number you would like the calls forwarded to.

If I have call fowarding, how do I keep the ViaTalk Voicemail from taking the call if I don't answer?

To keep the ViaTalk voicemail from taking the call, you need to take a couple of steps.

  1. Login into your control panel and make sure that you already have the call forwarding going to your desired destination.
  2. On the main screen, Click on "Set Ring Seconds"
  3. Change the number of rings to "Infinite" and save your changes.

Now when a call comes in, the voicemail at the number you forwarded will take the message if you miss the call.
